What’s The Best Vacuum For VLM Carpet Cleaning?

Video: How To Perform A Basic VLM Carpet Cleaning Job (COMING SOON!)

Hi again,

Last time we talked, I told you how important it is to vacuum before you clean carpets with the VLM method.

The problem is most new carpet cleaners want to either a) skip vacuuming or b) use their cheap vacuum from home.

First of all… you don’t want to skip vacuuming.

Reminder: most customers never vacuum their carpets. If you want to get their carpets really clean, you’ll need to vacuum them before you use the VLM cleaning method.

You also don’t want to vacuum with the same old Shark, Hoover, or even your “fancy” Dyson. Trust me… I’ve tried them all!

I’ve also talked to hundreds of other carpet cleaners who have tried every single cheap vacuum you can get at Walmart, Target, and elsewhere.

After hours of testing and hundreds of dollars wasted… they always arrive at the same conclusion: get a commercial vacuum cleaner.

So what’s the best commercial vacuum for VLM carpet cleaning?

I highly recommend you start with the Oreck XL vacuum (blue version).

There are so many reasons I recommend this vacuum:
-Cheap, replaceable parts
-Easy to clean the beater bar
-Bags are cheap on Amazon (buy in bulk for big savings)
-Powerful commercial motor with great suction
-Long 40’ cord so you’re not constantly plugging & unplugging

But the biggest reason to start with the Oreck XL… it’s under $175!

The Oreck is a huge step up from a consumer vacuum. You’ll notice better results immediately.

Long term, you’ll find that these vacuums can last forever. Especially with regular maintenance (you can replace the belt & beater bar in 10 minutes for under $20).

If you’re even thinking of starting a VLM carpet cleaning business, buy an Oreck XL commercial vacuum cleaner. It will start you on the right path.

Best,
The VLM Guy

P.S. – You can usually find the Oreck XL at the lowest price on Amazon. Be sure to look for bags in bulk, too. The XL uses bag type CC.
